Very salty. • Soil type: No soil • Precipitation: Gives rain to land • Temperature range: 39˚F freezing to as warm as a bathtub on surface. Very cold in the deep • Climate: Varies

  3. Plant Species- Over one million of plant species such as Kelp, sea algae, seaweed, marsh grasses, phytoplankton. • Animal species- Fish, mollusk, worms, clams, predatory crustaceans, shore birds, crabs, coral, anemones, octopi, fungi, whales… etc.

  4. MarineAdaptations Needed for Survival • Plants- Plants need sunlight to survive • Animals- Animals can live in plants for shelter and protection. Some animals have blubber to survive the cold waters..
