  5. UNIFORM REGULATIONS CORRECT WEAR OF IDENDIFICATION BADGES MEN: On pocket with flaps, center badge between the lower point of the flap and bottom of the pocket, between the sides. On pocket without flaps, center the badge on the pocket. FULL DRESS UNIFORMS: Center the badge on the left pocket ¼ inch below the lowest row of medals or below the second breast insignia, if authorized. If the breast insignia, medals and identification badge combined cause the identification badge to be position on or below the lower seam of the pocket, do not wear the second breast insignia. WEAR ON THE LEFT SIDE IF ALL WORKING UNIFORMS

  6. UNIFORMREGULATIONS WOMEN Center the badge ¼ inch above the coat/shirt pocket or above authorized ribbons/large medals/breast insignia. FORMAL AND DINNER DRESS UNIFORMS Men and women center badge ¼ inch below the lowest row of miniature medals or secondary breast insignia.

  7. UNIFORMREGULATIONS BREAST INSIGNIA Only 1 or 2 earned warfare devices or insignia may be worn on all uniforms. Pin on anodizes or oxidized (pewter in appearance) silver breast insignia may be worn. Personnel who are qualified to wear multiple pins are authorized to wear devices that has the same finish. Hand polishing of breast insignias is authorized but not to the degree of altering the general appearance, finish or detail of the device.

  8. UNIFORMREGULATIONS WEAR OF BREAST INSIGNIA Wear on the left side of the uniform in the primary position. Primary position with ribbons or medals: The insignia is centered above ribbons or medals with the lower edge of the device ¼ inch above the top row of ribbons or medals. Without ribbons or medals: Centered above the left pocket with the lower edge of the device ¼ inch above the top of the pocket. Coveralls and Utilities: Centered above the left pocket with the lower edge of the fabric strip ≈ ¼ inch above the “U.S. NAVY” tape strip. Dinner Dress Jackets:Men center the insignia on the left lapel, 3 inches below the notch: women center the insignia left lapel down one-third the distance between the shoulder seam and coat hem.

UNIFORMREGULATIONS Secondary position with ribbons or medals: The insignia is centered above ribbons or medals with the top of the device ¼ inch below the top of the pocket or pocket flap, or centered below medals with the top of the device ¼ inch below the lowest row medals. Secondary position without ribbons or medals: The insignia is centered ¼ inch below the top of the pocket or pocket flap. Dinner Dress Jackets: Center the insignia on the left lapel, ¼ inch below the primary insignia. IF WEARING ONLY ONE DEVICE, PLACE IT IN THE PRIMARY POSITION.
