How-To Essay • What is a How-To Essay? • Review Steps to Writing a How-To Essay. • What’s in an Introduction • Get your outline approved by me!Make sure your directions are now in the correct order and are extremely detailed. • It may seem tedious and a “no brainer” to you, but remember, treat your audience as if they have never heard of your activity and have no idea what it is or how to do it. Even the smallest details matter! • Start Rough Drafts- needs to be in appropriate format, refer to handout from first week.

  4. SSR • Make sure you are seated and reading when the bell rings and continue to do so for the entire 20 minutes. • Remember this time is worth 10% of your grade!

  5. Rough Drafts • Refer to handout from first week that should be in “Essay” tab of binder. • Correctly format top of page. • Make sure you have a unique title.
