  2. So you have decided to start your YouTube video marketing. And after creating several videos, you noticed there still are no significant results. Perhaps you are doing it wrong.

  3. “WRONG?!?” you might ask. Well, No – because there is no such thing as creating a wrong YouTube marketing video. There are no specific rules to follow in creating YouTube videos. But there are common elements that are present in some of the most successful YouTube marketing videos. And here are those, compiled in a list. Read on.

  4. 1. Keep your videos short and to the point. Ideally, the maximum running time should only be 3 minutes or less. Your viewer should not have to wait too long to get your information.

  5. 2. Include a “Call to Action” on your videos. Ideal placement would be at the beginning, at the middle and right before the video ends. Your “Call to Action” should clearly state what you want your viewer to do – and should give them incentive for doing such.

  6. 3. Provide value to your YouTube videos – something that will be beneficial to your YouTube viewers and subscribers.

  7. 4. Target the content of your videos to a specific audience. Be certain in what you are trying to accomplish with it. Example: Create FAQs video to answer customer questions or create “How To” video to guide customers how to do something.

  8. 5. Create videos that are “Stand Out” among other YouTube Videos. Present your ideas in a unique and creative way – something that netizens will be curious about, would be talking about. But be mindful of overusing effects, animations and the likes -- as those could distract or confuse your viewers.

  9. 6. Make your videos look professional, and it should have a good sound quality – especially if you are doing voice-overs/narration in it. 7. Create videos that are consistent with your business’ brand and reputation.

  10. 8. Title your videos that are eye-catching -- which means when someone sees your videos’ title, they will instantly have an idea of what it is about. Also, it should be based on your target keyword for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) purposes.

  11. 9. Put video description that summarizes what the video is about. Also, remember to include your business’ contact information such as your website, email etc.

  12. 10. Tag your videos with keywords that are relevant and are based on your keyword research for SEO purposes. This will help your videos appear on search engines such as Google and others.

  13. Make sure to follow these tips, and you are one step away from creating a successful YouTube video that will create buzz online, and subsequently increase your business’ exposure and revenues.
