How We Will Do It • Data-informed performance measurement and accountability systems; • Alignment of expectations, standards, and assessments among K-12, community colleges and four-year institutions, adult education and workforce systems; • Improving services to academically underprepared students; • Strengthen financial aid and institutional support to completion; • Clear public policy commitment.

Community Engagement • Build awareness during Fall 2009 • Community Engagement Week: November 9-12, 2009 • Draft the white paper by the end of Fall 2009 • Community Retreat during Spring 2010 • Articulate 3 to 5 strategic directions during Spring 2010 • Formal implementation of the strategic directions during the summer of 2010
