  3. What Glen Ridge High School Sends.. Transcript with GPA and the senior year courses. Any change in courseload, an updated transcript will be sent. Glen Ridge High School profile Letters of recommendation Transcript and Recommendation requests are due 15 school days prior to the admission deadline.

  4. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES… • Submitting Brag Sheets & Resume • Requesting Transcript/Recommendation through Naviance • Sending in the application and fee • Sending in the essay • Sending Official SAT/ACT test scores • Signing up with the NCAA clearinghouse if applicable. (www.ncaa.org)

  5. Essay / Personal Statement • Demonstrate personality, talents and creativity. • Be reflective of oneself — be honest and interesting! • Share something unique. Show a side that the application doesn’t reveal. • Have the essay proofread by English teachers or other respected personnel for suggestions. • Give the essay to the School Counselors--exchange ideas and get feedback. • Counselor Essay Review- if received by October 1.

See and talk to the college reps at: Individual College visits to GRHS The GRHS Fair Regional Information Sessions Check online for dates Campus Visits (be certain to take an official tour through the Admissions’ Offices) Follow-up with e-mails and thank you notes (simple courtesies can’t hurt) Contact with the Colleges: Make yourself known! Show your interest!
