  2. For reduction of heat waves • Low levels of windscreen tint can reduce the heat in your car by up to 70% • A crack on the windshield can be caused due to drastic change in temperature • If the car has leather seats, it can extend the life and quality by protecting it from direct UV rays

  3. For visibility in direct sunlight • Some windshields have a layer of dark tint at the top of the windshield known as “shade band”. This helps to reduce the sun glare, however, it cannot extend below a certain point • The designation of tints are decided by the level of light allowed to pass through the glass • A 90% film allows 90% of the light to pass through the car windshield.
