3. Introductie Omdat: door te analyseren kunnen we zowel ‘declaratieve’ als ‘procedurale’ en ook nog ‘tacit’ (onbewuste / impliciete/stilzwijgende kennis)kennis opbouwen; en in het ontwerp process, kunnen we deze ‘kennis soorten’ analogisch gebruiken.

Introductie • Kennis/knowledge: Processed information • Cognitieve structuur van architectuurwetenschap • Om de cognitieve structuur van de architectuurwetenschap onder de knie te krijgen, moeten we basiskennis van de cognitieve wetenschap beschikken. • The word cognitive refers to perceiving and knowing. • Cognition : knowing, perceiving, or conceivng as an act or faculty distinct from emotion and volition.

They may strive to perform an imagery task in a way that is natural and feels like seeing without being able to articulate how they did it. In such cases subjects are said to be using tacit knowledge.”
