  4. Introduce to , Society, POLL • Several kinds of collaborative tools are available in cyber society, such as email, wiki, and blog. Sornlertlamvanich et al. introduced KUI (Knowledge Unifying Initiator) which is a platform for knowledge development that enables connection and collaboration among individual intelligence in order to accomplish any complex mission. A variety of KUI’s derivations are later on proposed, including KuiPOLL, KuiSCI and KuiHerb

  5. What is ? • KUI is a GUI for knowledge engineering. It is developed to be a knowledge user interface for online collaborative work to create knowledge bases. • KUI provides a web interface accessible for pre-registered members. An online registration is offered to manage an account by profiling the login participant in making contribution. • A knowledge community can be formed and can efficiently create the domain knowledge through the features provided by KUI. • These features fulfill the process of record human knowledge from his thought.

  6. : Knowledge Unifying Initiator • A Social Networking System: • KUI is an open space for discussion and opinion exchange. • Members gather to discuss and work on a specific task. • Human network is established by the experience of participation. • Visualization: • A tree-based graph is used to show the relation between members through the participating tasks. • Task popularity is shown by the density of participating members.

  8. What is SOCIETY ? • Kui SOCIETY is a center of Kui. Every derivation of KUI will create user from here and then you can join in every KUI etc, KuiSCI, KuiHerb, KuiPOLL and other derivation in future.

  10. What is POLL ? • KuiPOLL aims to manage and handle online opinion poll. It includes a feature for finding out what people think under the interesting topics. In addition, KuiPOLL is a platform for composing knowledge in the Open Source software development style similar as KUI.

  11. Tools for develop POLL • Tools for develop KuiPOLL, We use open source software.We programmimg inPHP Language and MySQL DB. Interface of KuiPOLL is in Web application form. You can open in any Web browser.

How to create news in KuiPOLL • Most Polls are collecting data in a database and don’t show information for all people. • Sometimes if you want to see results of a poll, you have to login first. • In Software KuiPOLL, we emphasize output from poll. We select interesting topics for KuiPOLL and show them in a website. We provide RSS and xml technology for other websites to get News from KuiPOLL.

KuiPOLL News arranges news by time and activity. If some selected topic has many opinions or voting, this selected topic will move towards the begining of the list.

  17. Poll’s Feed System • KuiPOLL used technology to allow other web sites to get KuiPOLL News. • Items in RSS tags contain title, link, description, and pubDate. The title tag is selected poll, link tag is link to that poll, description tag explains about what topic will be shared opinion or discussion and pubDate tag is the date and time this poll was created.

  19. Conclusion and Future Works • KuiPOLL produces new information for the public in the from of news. The news from KuiPOLL can create new knowledge for such interesting topics. We provide the news easily with an for RSS feed. People can also post their comments. • The KuiPOLL’s news is dynamic, any change over activities on KuiPOLL will make new news. The recent news is the last action. At this time we consider news to be knowledge. However, the two words are different because there must be more truth on knowledge than news. This idea drives our future work to make KuiPOLL’s news more believable.
