FGCU faculty… you can now Bring Your Own Device [ Microsoft Surface, Apple iPad, iPhone and Android phones, tablets, notebooks and laptops] to select classrooms on campus and wirelessly project your documents and images without being “tethered” to the teaching podium in the front of the room! With BYOD @ FGCU you now you have the flexibility to teach from anywhere in the classroom! AirMedia™ is the technology that we have adopted here for this purpose. It provides for the seamless integration of your wireless device with our installed classroom teaching podium systems.

  5. How can I reserve a BYOD–enabledroom for my classes? • Contact Your Department Chair to schedule your next FGCU class in an BYOD @ FGCU-enabled room!

  7. What are the short-range plans for BYOD FGCU? • Expand number of BYOD-enabled classrooms for FACULTY by Fall 2016 • Pilot BYOD for STUDENTS in test classrooms by Fall 2016
