In the United States, there have been more than 150 mass shootings since 1966. A mass shooting is a single shooting incident that kills or injures four or more people. veterans welfare news The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is pleased to announce the launch of the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS), a veterans affairs news online claims submission system. VBMS is designed to provide Veterans with direct access to their claims and evidence, as well as improve communication with Veterans and their representatives. The system is currently in production and is available to veterans welfare with service- connected disabilities and their representatives. The system will eventually be available to all Veterans. To use VBMS, Veterans will need to create a user account. Representatives will also need to create an account and will need to be designated by the Veteran. Once an account is created, Veterans and representatives will be able to submit claims, upload evidence, and track the status of their claims.
