  3. Why should I use SCORE? • Definitive content, authored by Program Directors and content experts • Curriculum endorsed by ABS and major surgical organizations, including APDS • On-line web-based resources accessible from anywhere • Rich content • Fulfills many RRC requirements

SCORE • Began in 2006 • Competency-based curriculum that defines the specialty of general surgery • 700+ modules listed in current plan (aka “Patient Care Curriculum Outline”) • 266 modules currently on web portal • All broad diseases/conditions • All essential/common operations/procedures • 78 modules in ‘basic science’ on-line by July 1
