  7. Top Controls - 2 • On/Off button – press to turn on or off. • Shutter release button • Press lightly about half-way to enable auto-focus • Press all the way to take photo • Zoom switch around the shutter release button • Mode wheel • Allows you to choose your shooting mode.

  9. Back Controls 2 • This is the LCD Display • Control Wheel • Playback Button • You can view your photos • Use the Control Wheel to go forward and backward • Menu Button • Allows you to change menu settings

  10. Transferring your photosto the computer - 1 You need to obtain a USB Card Reader

  11. Transferring your photosto the computer - 2 Take the SD card out of the camera, open the card reader at the straight end and load it in the card Reader. Make sure the labels face in the same direction.

  12. Transferring your photosto the computer - 3 Close the card Reader. Open the other end and plug it into the USB port of your computer.

  13. Transferring your photosto the computer - 4 • You will get an Auto Play window. • Click on Open to view files. • You do this so you can find your photos. • Remember that other students are using the cameras.

  14. Transferring your photosto the computer - 4 • You will see a folder called DCIM • Open it to view files. • You will see some folders, select the one for today’s date and open it. • Select your photos • Copy them to your computer
