  8. A Little Secret: • Success in English Language and English Literature at GCSE is skills based • Not a question of memorising facts, figures and information • Learn to PEE: • Point • Evidence • Explanation and exploration • Understanding the writer’s techniques

  9. So... = Read, read, read!! Boost yourself and analyse. Ask yourself “How are my reactions to this being controlled by the writer?” Many girls go on to study English Literature here at A-level and later at University
