  2. Traditional approach, hot process, bitumen based + Light-coloured, highly NIR and visible light reflective top coat, prefabricated rolls (88-100 cm width) + Top coat surface should be smooth, non-porous and not sticky at elevated temperature to ensure easy (self) cleaning + Replacing bitumen and polymer content by sustainable/recycled materials up to 30% + Demo material can be easily produced using traditional production equipment - PCM cannot be included due to sensitivity to heat and high shear Conceptual design, revised

  3. Product for new roofs NIR-reflective topcoat withreinforcement 0.5 mm Renewable/bitumen/polymer waterproofing layer 1.4 mm Impreg. performance compo- site reinforcement 1 .6 mm Renewable/bitumen/polymerself adhesive 1.0 mm Release foil Total thickness approx.4.5 mm Specifications acc. to -European Standards for bituminous roofing felts- for new roofs NU-Roof modified polymer bitumen membrane

  4. Product for old roofs to be renovated NIR-relective topcoat withreinforcement 0.5 mm Renewable/bitumen/polymer waterproofing layer 1.4 mm Impreg. performance compo- site reinforcement 1 .6 mm Renewable/bitumen/polymeradhesive to be welded 1.0 mm PE film, 10µm Total thickness approx.4.5 mm Specifications acc. to -European Standards for bituminous roofing felts- for new roofs NU-Roof modified polymer bitumen membrane

  5. More futuristic approach, cold process, dispersion based + Light-coloured, highly NIR and visible light reflective top coat + Top coat surface should be smooth, non-porous and not sticky at elevated temperature to ensure easy (self) cleaning + Polyester fleece reinforced base coat, impregnated with acrylate or rubber modified bitumen dispersion including PCM - As no suitable production line is available within NU-Roof, only small, hand made samples can be produced for demonstration purposes Conceptual design, revised

  6. Product for new roofs NIR-reflective topcoat withreinforcement 0.5 mm Dispersion based waterproo-fing layer incl. PCM 1.4 mm PES-fleece reinforcement, im-pregnated, incl. PCM 1 .6 mm Dispersion based self adhesive layer incl. PCM 1.0 mm Release foil Total thickness approx.4.5 mm NU-Roof cold processed self adhesive membrane
