Heat Wave • Bridge Map • After reading each page, use a blank sheet of paper to note something that realistic and something that is an example of fantasy from the story. • Then take your examples and sort them into related subjects and make sure your example is in complete sentences. • When finished use another blank sheet of paper to construct a Bridge map using the analogy Realism : Fantasy ::___________:__________? • When finished go back and reread this week’s selection in order to improve reading fluency.
