  3. fx 333 Global warming refers to climate change that causes an increase in the average temperature of the lower atmosphere.  Global warming can have many different causes, but gwe waste energy so much from which……………………

  4. The ice in the arctic is melting, and the polar bears’ habitat is shrinking.

  5. In some hot countries, there is less rain, and rivers are drying up.

  6. In places the land is becoming so dry that the farmers can no longer grow crops.

  7. So what can YOU do to stop global warming?

  8. What is energy conservation? Reduction in the amount of energy consumed in a process or system, or by an organization or society, through economy, elimination of waste, and rational use.

  9. Tips Here are some tips that how to conserve energy…………….

  10. You can turn off the lights when you don’t need it.

  11. Use energy efficient bulbs instead of normal bulbs.

  12. If it is less cold put the heating down and set the clock so that it is on for less time.

  13. keep the doors and windows shut when the heating is on, to keep the warmth in.

  14. Save hot water by taking short showers instead of baths.

  15. Find out if your home is insulated to stop the warmth from escaping through the roof.

  16. Ride a bike or walk instead of using the car.

  17. Fill the kettle only with the amount of water that is needed. That way it will take less energy to bring it to boil it.

  18. Close the fridge door! Don't keep it open to waste the cooling.

  19. Put lids on the cooking pans to keep the heat in while the food is cooking.

  20. Reuse plastic bags as much as u can.

  21. Switch off! Don’t leave the TV on standby! If you can see a light like this when the TV is off, it is using almost as much energy as if it was on!

  22. Turn off the water tap while you brush your teeth.
