  2. Color Wheel • A circle with different colored sectors used to show the relationship between colors.

  3. Color Schemes • An arrangement or combination of colors.

  4. Primary Colors • The three colors that cannot be made by mixing other colors together. They are red, blue, and yellow.

  5. Secondary Colors • Secondary colors are made by mixing two primary colors together.

  6. Tertiary Colors • Tertiary colors include all primary colors and/or a combination of secondary colors. Browns and grays are tertiary colors.

  7. Hue • These are the purest and brightest colors. They form the full spectrum of colors which go around the Primary Color Wheel. • These color schemes are bold, cheerful and exciting.
