  1. Types of water purification techniques in Pharmaceuticals TSA Water Systems

  2. Water is one of the most important resources available to humans. It is a universal solvent and hence has a wide range of industrial applications. One of the most vital ingredients in our pharmaceutical products is also water. Water is used as an ingredient and solvent in the formulation and manufacture of pharmaceutical products. Pharmaceutical water systems are used to produce high quality pure water for the formulation of certain parenteral and non-parenteral pharmaceutical products. A number of techniques such as reverse osmosis, distillation and ion exchange are employed in pharmaceutical water systems to produce purified water.

  3. Apart from being useful in production, pure water is also used as a cleaning agent for the equipment, distribution and storage systems as well. Water is purified to remove impurities and prevent microbes which might cause contamination of products. The feed water to be used in a pharmaceutical water system needs to be at least drinking water quality levels. Contact us to know more.
