  1. Table of contents: • Introduction • Our City. Cracow. • Church of God in Cracow and in Poland • Our pastors • Cracow Ministry Center. Its purposes.

  2. Introduction

  3. Can you imagine a country where most of the people believe in the God from the Bible, go to a service every Sunday and have never heard the good news about salvation? Can you imagine the people who know a lot about the life of Jesus Christ, they believe He died on the cross and rose from the dead but, they do not know why? Can you imagine that you are talking to a man who considers himself a Christian; and when you offer him to accept Jesus you hear an accusation of belonging to a sect as an answer?

  4. Can you imagine a country where the biggest Evangelical church consists of just 400 members, and churches that have more than 200 members are considered large churches? That is Poland A country we love and have passion for.

  5. Our city. Cracow.

  6. A gem of architecture. Almost a million inhabitants (third largest city in Poland). A university center (with the oldest university in Poland - founded in 1364). More than 150,000 university students. Less than 1000 Protestants in Cracow who meet in twelve churches.

  7. „The Schindler's List" by Stephen Spielbergwas filmed in Cracow Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp is 60 miles away from Cracow. We believe that thanks to Christ and His Church the abundance of history will turn into a rich and hopeful future.

  8. Church of God in Cracow and in Poland

  9. 1992 Ten students decided to plant a church. All came from the Catholic Charismatic Movement. One of the fellowship leader was Wojtek Wloch. God has spoken three words to him : „build a church”

  10. 1992-2000 Over twenty various places of meetings around Cracow (parks, squares, private houses). A pressure of the Catholic church.

  11. 2000 A few independent churches decided to join together and became a federation of autonomic churches.

  12. 2003 All the churches unanimously decided to join the International Church of God.

  13. 2006 8 local churches and 2 mission outreaches.

  14. 2006 90 adults and 45 children. The first generation of believers. Our dream: a small group of believers in every town in the southern Poland. God has given us a promise: if there will be at least two saved people in a town, He himself will keep adding the next ones.

  15. Presently COG in Poland operates in 10 cities. However, we are here to expand: Our children will make Poland look like this:

  16. Our pastors

  17. Pastor Wojtek Włoch - Jagiellonan University in Cracow (history studies), Church History on the Pope Theological Academy in Cracow. Working on his PhD.. Pastor’s Wojtek wife Gosia - graduated from Warsaw University (clinical psychology). Two weeks ago blessed with a long expected son – Joel George Wloch.

  18. “Our vision and desire is to influence peoples’ lives and help them to discover and achieve their destinies. Wewant to support and strengthen families, building the church and society in them. We believe that the families are the corner stone to change our society. We aim to create a family center in our building. In this place whole families could get in touch with God. We dream of a place, where the church community would not only meet in their services, but where we could spend valuable time with friends and other families. We have the view of the Family Center, where our children are raised among healthy families and can raise their own children in the future.” Wojtek Wloch

  19. Cracow Ministry Center …its purposes.

  20. Why Cracow Ministry Center? The first Protestant church building raised in Cracow since the city was established. An example for other churches that everything is possible when God is on your side! No pressure from the Catholic Church. It will host a Ministry Center to educate missionaries and workers for the Church of God in Poland.

  21. Why Cracow Ministry Center? It will host the Family Center. The opportunity to organize cross-denomitional lectures, seminars and conferences. Youth and student events.

  22. Why Cracow Ministry Center? The scholar library will have Polish and English literature. (There is no library with Pentecostal literature available to students of Christian and public schools yet in Poland). Most of all… it will be our heritage for next generations to win the city of Cracow for God.

  23. „And the name of the city from that time on will be: The Lord is there” Ezekiel 48:35b, NIV
