  3. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND: You just don’t need grace to start the Christian race, you need grace to keep running from start to finish.

  5. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND: God’s grace is God’s strength – His power to do what we could not do in our own power.

II CORINTHIANS 12:7-10 7 Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself! 8 Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me.

Continued… 9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

  8. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND: When you hit bottom, only then can you discover the depths of grace.

  9. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND: The amazing thing about grace, it actually lengthens my witness.

  10. II CORINTHIANS 1:4 4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
