October 26th-Shape Project Due Poem for Recitation Contest Due October 30th: Classroom Poetry Recitation Contest October 31st: Pumpkin day- we still need 2 volunteers from 1-2 and some pumpkin themed snacks to be sent in at 10:00. long…longest thing…something song…strong us…trust sing…singer must…mustard ring…cringe does…doesn’t bring…bringing food…yummy This Week’s Trivia!! We have been learning all about Benjamin Franklin and his many inventions. If your child will write down 3 of his inventions that we still use today- they can pick their prize!! Have them bring their Trivia answers in tomorrow!! Good luck! Choices: Move their clip up Piece of candy Sticker WHAT ARE WE LEARNING? Reading: Plot/Text-to-Text Connections Math: Geometry Grammar: Proper Nouns Writing: Informational Writing Science/Social Studies: Benjamin Franklin Phonics: Long a spelled with ai and ay Start practicing math facts on a daily basis with your child! CLASSROOM INFO. • Please remember to complete the reading logs each night. • I highly encourage all of the kiddos to participate in the classroom poetry recitation. It is great practice at speaking in front of their peers. Poems and forms are due on October 26th. • Shape Projects Due on October 26th. . Extra!! Extra!!ReadAll AboutIt!! Specials have changed this nine weeks. We now go to Computer on Thursdays and on PE on Fridays. The rest of the days stay the same.
