  2. REQUIREMENTS: • 1. Complete your project neatly and accurately • 2. Use at least two media mediums in your project • 3. Turn in your finished work by May 21st • 4. Work on this project mainly at school • 5. Participate in all activities in a positive manner

How will your grade be determined? • Contract for an A: Complete 6 of the projects and use 2 technological mediums • Contract for a B: Complete 5 of the projects and use 2 technological mediums • Contract for a C: Complete 4 of the projects and use 2 technological mediums • (There is no contract for a D! This project will count as 2 test grades!)

  4. PROJECT CHOICES: • 1. Write an agenda for your trip. Detail what you will do each day of your one week vacation. (*May be a pod-cast) • 2. Plan a budget for your family vacation. Include the following: • Gasoline costs (2.00/gallon) • Food • Motels/camping fees • Entertainment/sightseeing expenses • Miscellaneous expenses • 3. Use Photo-story or Animoto to describe your visit to your national park. Include sights to see and important details about the park. You may obtain pictures from the internet to document your journey. • Photo story of the Grand Canyon

  5. Projects continued: • 4. Make a power-point presentation for the main state you will be visiting. Include a map, state flag, state bird, state symbol, and major sites. Be creative! • 5. Design a travel brochure for your national park. Include pictures, a map, information about the park, plant and animal life, etc. • 6. Create a pod-cast interviewing a park ranger, a government employee, or a tour guide at one of the places you visit.   6. Project choices continued: • 7. Use a flip camera, interviewing at least one family member about your vacation. What are some things they enjoyed the most, what was their least favorite part, and would they like to visit this area again, etc. • 8. Write the directions to your national park, or your final destination from your home. You may use Map Quest, or a similar site, but you must also highlight your trip on the provided road map. • 9. Design luggage from a shirt box, shoe box, pizza box, etc. The real purpose of this luggage will be to hold your projects or pictures you are displaying. This luggage should be durable and attractively designed. It cannot be made of plastic or wood. 10. Other: This must be approved by Mrs. Pangel
