  1. Native American Cultures Foldable: Pages 12-15 • Supplies: Scissors, Glue, Colored Pencils, Pencil or Pen • Shutterbook fold, map on the inside. Cut in the center of the two doors, making four doors. • Label the 4 doors: North and Northwest; West and Southwest; Great Plains; and Northeast and Southeast • On the inside of each door, complete the following questions on each using your notes and pages 12-15: • Give them a “hook” or nickname. What did they hunt? • What was their religion? What did they live in? • Name 3 tribes in the area. What did they eat? • On the map, color the following culture areas and create a key by shading in the name of the area with the color you use on the map: Arctic*, Subarctic*, Northwest Coast, Plateau, Great Plains, Northeast, Great Basin, California, Southwest, Southeast **Arctic and Subarctic are found on Alaska. • EXTRA FUN OPTION--- Cut out map and glue on construction paper to make more colorful!!!!
