  2. Who we are • We’re a software technology firm based in Terre Haute. • We plan to sell add-on software for Instant Messaging (IM) products Me on a bad day – When you’re a startup, you have to think fast on your feet. It’s the Wild West all over again!

  3. The Starting Point…(a big Instant Mess, huh!)

  4. The Opportunity… • Is in our Omniversal Patent # 101: “Image Connections by Window Layering.” • It’s like “HTML 4.0 Document language” but applied to IM’s • User can Move Up or Down in Window Levels (using mouse or arrow keys)! Legendary Mouse

  5. Possible Applications: • Application 1 - Chat: Up-&-down-arrow or click to see different dimensions of a chat group. Say, for a business meeting!

  6. Possible Applications: • Application 2 - Games: Up-&-down-arrow or click to see different dimensions of a complex multi-player game, using IM. Now meet my multitalented team 

  7. Engineering Research… • Our chief scientist, Nathan Nearfault, just before we hired him. • Wished he had a new kind of shopping cart to push. Then, in a moment of inspiration, trasmogrified that problem into how to keep his regular donors straight, which combined with his web services background to become, “How to keep chat sessions straight.” • The rest is history!

  8. Engineering Development… • John Miller, our Software Project Lead, watches for better news about outsourcing trends… • Went to a big state school by mistake, but is staging a strong comeback at our little company • Convinced a joystick is the key to better IM navigation John’s dream…
