EASC Activity Summary • Current working groups: None (possibly one or two starting as soon as revision of our Working Group P and Ps are approved) • Average Working Group size: 100 (400 total participation in both working groups and all subgroups) • Number of PARs approved YTD: 1 – for P1680.1 revision • Number of Stds sent to ballot: 2 on May 2011 • Number of Stds approved for publication:2 • the IEEE 1680.2 Standard for the Environmental Assessment of Imaging Equipment • the IEEE 1680.3 Standard for the Environmental Assessment of Televisions • Both were approved as final IEEE standards on August 30th, published on the IEEE website October 2012.

Highlights of this Reporting Period • 1680.2 and 1680.3 standards approved as final IEEE standards and published on the IEEE website • Completed improvements of our management structure and processes • Got final AudComm approval of our Revised Sponsor P and Ps • Close to AudComm approval of our Revised WG P and Ps • Appeal submitted regarding the 1680.2 and 1680.3 Standards – would appreciate input on how to address appeals from other Sponsor Committees
