  3. We have also learned some graphemes for the /er/ phoneme butter burnt curtain churn Read these words. How many different ways of writing ‘er’ can you spot? third shirk hammer poorer mirky turned

An /ie/ game! • You will need: • 3 dice • your super blending brain! • How to play: • Roll each dice. • Look at the grapheme table on the next slide to see which phomemes • you need to blend. • 3. Blend the phonemes together to read the word you have created. • 4. Tell your grown up helper if the word is real or nonsense.
