Buddy System Overview • Organized “Relationship Touch” System • Implements system of Accountability • Assumes the following: • Active members result from the following: • Buy into Value Proposition • Attracted to and Retained by Established Relationships • Creates a “high touch” environment • Makes relationships “job one” • It’s a “Shoulder to Shoulder” system! • Implements a drip, drip system to establish and solidify of organizational relationships.

Who are the Buddies? • The Buddy System pairs active NAIFA Chapter members (namely, Board Members) with each remaining active and less active member. • The Buddy System promotes: • Communicates NAIFA’s value proposition • Increases Meeting Attendance • IFAPAC Involvement • Cultivates New Members • Builds Friendships

Buddy Responsibilities • Active buddy is to touch assigned buddy once per month. • Must be in person or by phone • Email or text does not count! • Anatomy of a “Buddy Touch” • B.R.P. – BRP the group! • B – Business – How is your business going? • R – Relationship – How is your family? • F.O.R.E. – Family, Occupation, Recreation, Enjoyment • P – Promote – Promote the next meeting, speaker, event! • Ask the “Will You?” question • I know if you come you will benefit from the speaker/program which will have a positive impact on your business. Besides, we always have a great time! • Will you come to our next meeting on September 23rd? • Do you know how to RSVP on the website? • Great, see you then!

  5. Buddy Accountability System • Make initial buddy assignments • See spreadsheet example below! • Make new assignments as new NAIFA members are added throughout the year. • Return and report each monthly • Recurring Board Meeting Agenda Item • Post touches to Membership Net
