  1. Electronics/Sensor development for the Upgrade of the ALICEInner Tracker SystemWP3

  2. Present engineering run • CERN/INFN/WUHAN/YONSEI • pALPIDE_fs • pALPIDE (3) • EXPLORER (3) • INVESTIGATOR • TEST STRUCTURES • RAL • CHERWELL3 • 2 OTHER TEST CHIPS • IPHC • 2 AROM • 1 OTHER CHIP W. Snoeys, ALICE ITS meeting, 20/01/2014

  3. General status and plan W. Snoeys, ALICE ITS meeting, 20/01/2014 Present engineering run in the line, but some correction is needed, will cause delay of a few weeks. Up to mid 2014 : optimize pixel structure and study different options for the readout architecture to obtain medium scale demonstrator CERN/INFN/Wuhan/Yonsei: one more submission ~end of april for a further iteration RAL: one more submission around the same time IPHC: preparing a submission for mid-February (see next slide) with:  -  3 FSBBs as forerunners of MISTRAL (and partly of ASTRAL)  -  1 MIMOSA-34 with large pixels  -  1 MIMOSA-22THRb with large pixels  -  1 MIMOSA-32 chip for in-pixel circuitry optimisation  -  3 AIDA chips Then : finalize full scale to be ready for volume production

  4. Engineering run IPHC Q1 2014 W. Snoeys, ALICE ITS meeting, 20/01/2014
