Glossary • MSAN – Multi Service Access Node (enabling telephony & broadband services) • DSLAM – Digital Subscriber Local Access Multiplexer (enabling broadband service) • MDF – Main Distribution Frame (terminating access lines and enabling cross connection to service specific line card) • HDF – Handover Distribution Frame (the demarcation point between Openreach and CPs within the Comingling area) • Test DN – Test Directory Number (used for connecting to the Openreach line test systems for fault diagnosis)
