  2. Not much has changed • LRSA remains at V2 • No new ARIN policies affecting LRSA • Nothing in the pipeline, either • That is unlikely to change until transfer issue resolved

  3. ESnet to Sign LRSA • ESnet should soon sign the LRSA • For all address space • For all AS numbers • Procurement sees no problems with terms

  4. The Clock is Ticking • LRSA currently will be withdrawn at the end of 2009 • My be extended • No word from ARIN indicating any current plan

  5. Related Activity • US Government Pressing for better data on resource ownership • To be used for SIDR (Secure Inter-Domain Routing) initiative • ARIN already canvassing legacy holders to update contact information • Now getting home AS information for address assignments
