  1. Introducing

  2. JetStream™ is a new wireless lighting control system from CentraLite based on Zigbee technology. September 4, 2007 2

  3. Why Zigbee? • Zigbee provides a low cost, reliable networking solution. • Its self-forming, self-healing mesh attributes make the system easy to install and configure.

  4. Mesh Networks • Mesh networking is a way to route data between nodes. Mesh networks differ from other networks in that the components connect to each other via multiple hops. • Mesh networks are self-healing. The network can still operate even when a node breaks down or a connection goes bad. As a result, a very reliable network is formed.

  5. Mesh Networks, cont. • Nodes, therefore, act as repeaters to transmit data from nearby nodes to peers that are too far away to reach. • Dynamic routing algorithms built into each device, ensure that the data takes the fastest route to its destination.

  6. JetStream’s Network • JetStream’s RF mesh network will only communicate with devices that have specifically been added to the network. • Unlike other types of networking, the more devices added to a mesh network, the stronger the network becomes.

  7. System Overview September 4, 2007 7

  8. Product Overview JetStream combines simplicity with expandability; providing one of the most affordable, yet feature rich wireless lighting control systems available in the market today. September 4, 2007 8

  9. Simplicity • JetStream’s distributed, controllerless technology simplifies installation. • Replace existing wall switches with JetStream’s pre-programmed dimmers and the installation is complete! September 4, 2007 9

  10. Expandability • JetStream can easily be expanded up to 200 devices. • Choose from one or three button dimmers or keypads, accessory keypads, lamp modules, tabletop controllers, and car remotes. All devices are easily added to the system. September 4, 2007 10

  11. Versatility • CentraLite’s open system architecture allows integration with other automation systems via the RS232 Bridge or Ethernet Bridge. • The RS232 Bridge provides the system with a real-time astronomical clock for timed events. September 4, 2007 11

  12. Features at a Glance • Mesh network topology • Supports up to 200 devices • Up to 100 scenes • Each device can participate in up to 30 scenes • Up to 50 timed events September 4, 2007 12

  13. Dimmers • One- and three-button dimmers available in White, Ivory, Light Almond or Black • A button on each dimmer provides load control • 800W Rating in single gang installations; 600W in multi-gang • Blue LEDs configurable for daytime and nighttime intensity September 4, 2007 13

  14. Keypads • One or three button keypads in White, Ivory, Light Almond or Black • Any button can be programmed to control an individual load or a scene • Keypads are high voltage devices September 4, 2007 14

  15. Accessory Keypads • One button keypads available in White, Ivory, Light Almond or Black • Provides inexpensive solution for three-way auxiliary control • Accessory keypads are connected via a traveler wire to a dimmer/keypad • The accessory keypad replicates the top button of the connected dimmer/keypad September 4, 2007 15

  16. Table Top Keypad • 8 button low profile console (available in white) • Provides convenient tabletop control of individual loads or scenes • Powered by a wall transformer September 4, 2007 16

  17. Lamp Module • Lamps are easily added to the system with the lamp module (available in white). • Simply plug a lamp into the lamp module. • The lamp module plugs into a standard electrical outlet. • Using the lamp module, lamps can be controlled like any other light in the network; from a wall or tabletop keypad, as an individual load or as part of a scene; The lamp module also includes a button for local control. September 4, 2007 17

  18. Car Remote • Provides 3 buttons to control individual loads or scenes • Battery Powered by 2-CR2032 batteries i(ncluded) • Includes metal clip to mount to car visor September 4, 2007 18

  19. System Configuration • The system can be configured by connecting any of the following devices to a PC. • USB Bridge • RS232 Bridge • Ethernet Bridge September 4, 2007 19

  20. USB Bridge • Allows system configuration from a PC • Can be unplugged when configuration is complete September 4, 2007 20
