  2. Dogmatism Defined • dog·ma·tism /‘dôgmə,tizəm/ • Noun: The tendency to lay down principles as incontrovertibly true, without consideration of evidence or the opinions of others • In other words: • Dogmatism states that someone thinks they are right with out valid evidence

  3. In real life • Al Gore is a perfect example due to his strong belief in global warming, though he doesn’t have much evidence.

  4. In the crucible • In the crucible the judges, Danforth in particular are perfect examples of dogmatism. • This is because he thinks that it is right and just top hang all of these people.
