April 11, 12 & 13- 2014 Equine Fashion Show Model Search • Presented by Rodeo Drive Conchos • Sponsored byPartrade Trading Company and Horse Tack Warehouse • The Midwest Horse Fair is searching for equine fashionistas who are ready to strut their stuff in our second annual equine fashion show! Wearing the hottest tack on the market supplied by our vendors, the horses will be led into the arena during a 30 minute presentation. • APPEARANCE & ELIGIBILITY • The Equine Fashion Show is open to all breeds and disciplines. All horses should be brought to the Midwest Horse Fair and kept in show-ready condition. Horses must be well groomed with a short and clean coat (either shed out or body clipped). Handlers must wear appropriate show attire and may be asked to model clothing as well. If a bridle is part of the tack being modeled, owners will need to bring the horse’s bit. Horse owners are responsible for the care and cleanliness of the tack provided. • HOW TO APPLY • After you have submitted your completed application, please send a picture of your horse or a link to an online video of your horse to sara.waddell@midwesthorsefair.com. A $40.00 stall fee will be assessed to accepted participants that are not participating in any other events at fair and includes one weekend stall and two (2) 3-day horse exhibitor wristband. If participating with the same horse in any other area, the stall and weekend admission will not be included. • IMPORTANT INFORMATION • Please be advised that by submitting your photo or video, you give the Midwest Horse Fairpermission to share it on the website, via social media, or through email. • Horses and handlers must attend a rehearsal on Thursday, April 10, 2014. • Horses must arrive on Thursday, April 10, 2014 between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm. • Horses must stay on the grounds until 5:00 pm on Sunday, April 13, 2014. • Selected participants will be notified by February 21, 2014. • Once accepted you will be given a limited amount of time to confirm your participation and pay the stall fee. Additional forms and information will then be sent. • The fashion show may be conducted in areas where there are likely to be large crowds. Opportunities to warm up in the actual arena may not be available. Please do not apply if you and/or your horse cannot function in such a setting. • Horse owners are responsible for the care and cleanliness of all tack used during the show. • All participants must adhere to the Midwest Horse Fair Code of Conduct. • *It is the policy of the Midwest Horse Fair that if you or a member of your group has a scheduling conflict due to participation in another competition or presentation, it is their responsibility to choose which event they will attend.
