  2. 1. We have chose exponential trendline because it most resembles the line. Also Exponential growth measures growth over time and gas prices will fluctuate throughout time. • The asymptote is zero and the gas prices will always have a growth or decay. Rarely will gas prices stay the same for long.

  3. 6. It does not seem possible because the answer I got after plugging in the value for x is .15. That’s such a big gap from the year previously, so it doesn’t seem realistic. • 7. Hannah will spend about a third of her income on gas at the end of the year. Gas will be more expensive but her pay still wouldn’t increase.
