  3. Ashkelon • Ashkelon is located 50km south of Tel-Aviv, 70km west of Jerusalem. • Population – 110,000. • Among the oldest cites in the world (5,000 year old).

The education system in Ashkelon Ashkelon has a diverse education system • 4 comprehensive high schools • 1 comprehensive religious school • 1 “Ort adivi – indastrial scool • School of arts • School of science • A Yeshiva, an Ulpana (religious girls’ school) • An Academic College attended by 5,500 students

  6. Integrated Junior school and High school • Servers 2,000 students (1,000 in the junior school, and 1,000 in high school). • Employs 180 teachers and 20 administration employees. • The students arrive from all neighborhoods of Ashkelon.

  9. Developed by ORT Israel for the Ministry of Education. In cooperation with the Bio-Medical engineering faculty of Ben-Gurion University. Under the supervision of Prof. Ofer Barnea (head of the bio-medical engineering department in Tel-Aviv University).

  15. Activity ExampleMeasuring a walking man motion, and filtering the measurement's noise. Required equipment: • Webcam • Internet • Excel • Videoxp (a video editing software).
