  2. SECONDARY SCHOOL OF GASTRONOMY AND SERVICES • The school is locate in center of Přerov. There are about 600 students in the school. • The school works with restaurant Bečva and there are cooks from school. • The school has own gym, dining room and school’s barbery with cosmetic services.

  3. HISTORY • School has got long tradition in town. It is 145 years old. Build was like monastery 120 years ago. In 1979 school changed from vocational school to high school.

SCHOOL‘S SPECIALIZATION • Hotel services This subject teach you how manage hotel, restaurant etc. • Cosmetic services This subject teach you high quality of cosmetic services • Hairdresser This subject teach you shaving, washing and cutting hair etc. • Cook / Waiter this subject teach you preparation and service of food etc. • Confectioner This subject teach you how making of sugar products • Salesman This subject teach you sale of products and keep them etc. • Business daily/remote study

  6. HOTEL SERVICES • Hotel services is the relationship between guest and host, or the act or practice of being hospitable. Specifically, this includes the reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers. Students with four years preparing to work in the hotel operation. They will carry out management activities in a variety of positions. After the final test, they will receive high school diploma.

  7. COSMETICS SERVICES • Thisisacademicfieldforfouryears. Theaimofthetraining program is to preparequalifiedand to providequalitycosmeticservices (basic professionalwork in preparingclientsforcosmeticoperations, surfacecleansinglotionandlotionwater, professional make-up removereyelashesandeyebrows, cosmeticmassagedifferentpartsofthe body, advisoryservices in cosmetic skin care productssuitable to theapplicationofthecurrentstateof skin andagecustomer) andtheprovisionofqualifiedandquality care forhandsandfeet.

  8. HAIRDRESSER • Hairdresser - takes care of customer's hair. He specializes in haircuts, using of combination of hair color, and hair texturing techniques. Students learn how to cut hair, shave, take care of your skin, etc. For three years they get, after the successful test, a certificate of apprenticeship.

  9. COOK / WAITER • Cook – Waiter- Thisisteachingfieldfor free years. A briefdescriptionofthefieldispreparingfoodhotandcold, includingdietarymeals, hotdessertsandconfectionery. Editingmealsforeverydayandspecialoccasions. Separateoperation in all catering establishments, collecting money andaccountingforsalestreatmentofalltypesofbeverages, dressing table forspecialoccasions. Administrativework in public establishmentsandcaterers. Style ofterminationisvocationalcertificate.

  10. CONFECTIONER • Confectioner mix sweeteners and other ingredients, and shape and cook confectionery including chocolate, toffee and other lollies. Students will learn how to make candy and sweets. For three years leave school with a vocational certificate.

  11. ACTIVITIES OF THE SCHOOL • Concert in the Church, Doors open Day, a Santa in the restaurant Bečva and other… We're having a competition, such as Macro Gastro Cup and more. It is a competition dealing with the scope the Cook-waiter.
