  7. Homework • Spellings - Tested on a Friday • Reading – 10 minutes daily • Maths – Due on Tuesday • Homework diaries – Checked on Monday

  8. Parental support • Support with homework activities • Test children on times tables • Hear your child read daily • Sign each read and homework diary • Help with school trips • Remind your child to bring their PE kit on Wednesday and Thursday

  9. Trips • Lincoln Cathedral- Church School’s Festival • PGL – Summer term • Day visits throughout the year to enhance topic work • Year 5 and 6 play at the end of the year

  10. Facebook/ Internet • Children should be 13 to have a Facebook account. • Many games have an age rating of 18. • Monitor children who are using the internet. Look at their ‘history’ regularly.
