  1. HOW TO PULL YOUR VOICE MAILS INTO YOUR E-MAIL CLIENT • Primary advantage: You will have a permanent .wav file on your PC and you choose when to delete it.

  2. Step 1: Send a request through SAP to activate your voicemail box for checking it with your e-mail client. The cost is $60 annually Step 3: Left Click on the TOOLS button. Step 4: Left Click on E-Mail Accounts

  3. Step 5: Left click on Add a new e-mail account. Then left click on the ‘NEXT’ button.

  4. Step 6: Select POP3 as the server type by left clicking on it. Then left click the ‘NEXT’ button.

  5. Step 7: Please fill in your first and last name in the field provided. Step 8: Under login information please enter your four digit phone number for the user name. Step 9: For the password please enter your password that you use to login to your voice mail account. You may choose remember password if you would like. Step 10: For the incoming mail server (POP3) and the outgoing mail server (SMTP) please enter the information exactly as provided. Step 11: Left click on more settings.

  6. Step 12: Under the general tab. Please enter the mail account name exactly as it appears in the form.

  7. Step 13: Left click on the connection tab. Select ‘Connect using my local area network (LAN)’

  8. Step 14: Left click on the advanced tab. Step 15: Please enter the information exactly as it appears for the incoming server (POP3) and the outgoing server (SMTP) port numbers. Step 16: Left click on the OK button.

  9. Step 17: Left click on the next button.

  10. Last step: Left click on the finish button. You are now ready to receive all of your voice mail in your inbox.

  11. THINGS TO REMEMBER • Once your voice mail is downloaded by e-mail, the “Message Waiting” on your phone will turn off. • Once your e-mail has downloaded your voice mails to your PC, you will receive a message that you do not have any new voice mails on the system if you login to your voice mail via phone. • If you are away from your desk, it is recommended you check your voice mail periodically for new voice mails.
