  2. What is an Inference? When someone asks you a question and you can’t find the answer right there in the story You need to use the clues in the story & Your brain!!

  3. How to play: • The teacher will draw 4 large circles on the board. A B C D

  4. How to play: • You should be sitting with your partner • Take out one white board to keep track of points. • Each group should have 15 sticky notes. • Put both partner names on each sticky note (give 5 min) • Careful not to touch the sticky part too much.

  5. How to play: • The teacher will read a small passage to the class. • With your partner you will need to decide which answer is correct. (The teacher will use a timer for 2 min) • When the timer goes off~ you will take one of your sticky notes and place it in the circle of the answer that you think is correct.

  6. Scoring: • The teacher will give the answer • If you get the answer correct then either you or your partner can come up and grab your sticky note and save it. • Beckett will clear the sticky notes off the other circles. (wrong answers) • Then the teacher will ask who can prove the answer for a bonus point. These can be marked on your white board. • At the end of the game we will take a tally of how many sticky notes and bonus points each pair has. Then hand out some rewards.
