  1. The story of rahab A woman who changed her life for God.

  2. Facts about rahab • Her story is found in the book of Joshua. • She had lots of family and would do anything for them. • At first she wasn’t a believer of God. • After her city was destroyed she started to follow God and eventually married a Jewish man.

  3. Rahab was called BY God Rahab was called by God to hide Joshua’s spies in her inn. God did this to Rahab because she was a sinner and God wanted her to be cleansed from sin.

  4. Influences and strength Without any of the influences and strength that Rahab had she would be nothing and would not be honored in the bible as she is today. Rahab gained lots of spiritual strength because she had none and when she started believing in God her faith flourished. Her influences included, Joshua and his spies, the wreckage of the rest of her city, and after a while God began to come into her life to guide her from doing wrong.

  5. God calls and tries to get rahab’s attention God gets Rahab’s attention by sending spies to her inn to test her. This test would depend on the rest of the Bible because without marrying a Jewish man King David would not have come about.

  6. Bible Quotes • ‘’Behold, take courage, and be strong. Fear not, and be not dismayed: because the Lord thy God is with thee in all things whatsoever thou shalt go to.’’ Joshua 1:9 • ‘’ Expect the Lord, do manfully, and let thy heart take courage, and wait thou for the Lord.’’ Psalms 27:14
