Animals of the Rainforest!. By: Mariah Smith. Elephants. Elephants trunks can get very heavy. Elephants do not drink with their trunks. Sometimes you can see a Elephant rest its trunk on its tusk. An Elephants eat grass and leafs. Howler monkey.

  2. Elephants Elephants trunks can get very heavy. Elephants do not drink with their trunks. Sometimes you can see a Elephant rest its trunk on its tusk. An Elephants eat grass and leafs.

  3. Howler monkey They eat fruit , buds , mostly leafs from the canopy. They are the loudest land animals. Howler monkeys have a short snout.

  4. Harpy Eagle They eat animals in the trees. Like the monkey. Harpy eagles are one of the biggest and strongest eagles in the rain forest.

  5. Gorilla Gorillas eat mostly fruit. They drink a lot of water. They are found in African countries. They roar or growl to communicate.

  6. Toucan A toucan eats mostly fruit. It’s beak is 6 inches long. It has small legs, but they are really strong. There beaks are colorful.

  7. spider monkey It’s tail is 35 inches long. It weighs 14 pounds. It eats fruits and nuts. When a spider monkey sees a person it barks loudly. Similer to a small dogs bark.

  8. Tiger They are one of the four biggest cats. They weigh 660 pounds and 13 total body length. They eat deer, young eliphants, pigs, and cattle.

  9. Sloths Sloths eat mostly leafs. It gives them enough energy to run for a while. Sloths claws serve at their natrule defense. Sloths spend most of their time upsidedown. They spend up to 15-18 hours sleeping.

  10. Jaguar They are very big cats. The jaguar enjoys to swim.It eats deer,fish and other things. They are related to other big cats.

  11. Red eyed tree frog Red eyed tree frogs have really bright red eyes. They are light green with yellow stripes on the side. They eat flys,grasshoppers,and possibly other small frogs.
