  3. 1733-1752 1733: Molasses Act: French west Indies Significance: Molasses continued to be imported. 1740: The Great Awakening : Theodore, Frelinghuysen, William Tenant  : Lead to religious development 1752: Kite Experiment : Benjamin Franklin: Created Electricity

  4. Putting the Empire Right • - 1754 to 1763 • - Great Britain’s National debt doubled • - Great Britain (country) • - Day to day cost of administering an Empire that extended from the Hudson bay to India    -Cost was larger and burden British tax payer greatly

  6. Peace of Paris • - 1763 • - Treaty of Paris, peace was restored • - Frances Parkman (Historian) • - France abandoned all claim to North America except for 2 small islands near Newfoundland and Great Britain took over New America

  10. Continuation of facts : :1776: stamp act is repealed : colonies, authority : Declaratory act asserts parliamentary authority over colonies He also stamped the paper of the independence!
