  3. System Requirements • Any system with JRE (Java Runtime Environment) – included in OmegaT • Runs with Windows (98 onwards), Mac OS X and Linux

  4. Supported Files • Word, Powerpoint, Excel - after conversion into OpenOffice documents [http://pt.openoffice.org/] • OpenDocument (ODF), OpenOffice • Plain Text, HTML, XHTML, XLIFF • Microsoft Office 2007 XML, etc.

  5. Features • Fuzzy matching • Simultaneous processing of multi-file projects • Allows different file formats in one project • Simultaneous use of several TMs

  6. Features • External glossaries • Tag validation • Compatible with TM applications (TMX) • Segmenting in sentences or paragraphs

  7. “Flaws” • No alignment function • No project analysis (no word count)
