  3. Brief History Restaurant was opened in 1971 Actual functioning lighthouse- Beacon #9 Architectural landmark of San Diego Owned and operated today by a second generation of Hams Fine dining & Events

  5. Internship Tasks Booking events Site Inspections & Tastings Draft proposals & Sample menus Prepare contracts & BEOS Deposits Order linen & confirm delivery Responsible for Set up & Strike Onsite for actual event

  6. The Setbacks Less than one week of training Took on Catering Manager’s responsibilities during the first week No training packets, verbal training Learn as you go (good and bad) Clients have to wait for answers Making costly mistakes
