  21. Daniel 2.44-47. Strong's H7328 - raz (Aramaic) רָז The secret of the kingdom of God is its breaking into the world in and through the ministry of Jesus. This is the knowledge that has been given to the disciples of Jesus.

  22. NIV: “But to those on the outside • everything is said in parables.” • και ελεγεν αυτοις υμιν το μυστηριον δεδοται της βασιλειας του θεου εκεινοις δε τοις εξω εν παραβολαις τα παντα γινεται • Literal: “Everything happens in parables.”

  23. “The new truth, now given to men by revelation in the person and mission of Jesus, is that the kingdom which is to come finally in apocalyptic power, as foreseen by Daniel, has in fact entered into the world in advance in a hidden form to work secretly within and among men.”

  24. The whole ministry of Jesus in word and action occurs “in parables,” in the twofold sense of being both parabolic and enigmatic—it happens “in riddles”! The key to the ministry of Jesus is the recognition that in and through him, by word and deed, the promise of the kingdom of God is the process of fulfillment.

  27. 8我 又 聽 見 主 的 聲 音 說 ： 我 可 以 差 遣 誰 呢 ？ 誰 肯 為 我 們 去 呢 ？ 我 說 ： 我 在 這 裡 ， 請 差 遣 我 ！ 9他 說 ： 你 去 告 訴 這 百 姓 說 ： 你 們 聽 是 要 聽 見 ， 卻 不 明 白 ； 看 是 要 看 見 ， 卻 不 曉 得 。 10要 使 這 百 姓 心 蒙 脂 油 ， 耳 朵 發 沉 ， 眼 睛 昏 迷 ； 恐 怕 眼 睛 看 見 ， 耳 朵 聽 見 ， 心 裡 明 白 ， 回 轉 過 來 ， 便 得 醫 治 。

  28. 11我 就 說 ： 主 啊 ， 這 到 幾 時 為 止 呢 ？ 他 說 ： 直 到 城 邑 荒 涼 ， 無 人 居 住 ， 房 屋 空 閒 無 人 ， 地 土 極 其 荒 涼 。 12並 且 耶 和 華 將 人 遷 到 遠 方 ， 在 這 境 內 撇 下 的 地 土 很 多 。 13境 內 剩 下 的 人 若 還 有 十 分 之 一 ， 也 必 被 吞 滅 ， 像 栗 樹 、 橡 樹 雖 被 砍 伐 ， 樹 墩 子 卻 仍 存 留 。 這 聖 潔 的 種 類 在 國 中 也 是 如 此 。

Jn 12.37 Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. 38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet:    “Lord, who has believed our message  and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” 39 For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere: 40 “He has blinded their eyes  and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn—and I would heal them.”41 Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about him.
