(Club alpino italiano). Vršni greben spada u strogu zonu zaštite zbog važnih bioloških i geoloških značajki. Također cijeli greben spada u vodozaštitno područje. In 1911 during the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, the Vojak Tower was built on Učka’s highest peak Vojak (1401 m), to benefit from the mountain’s wonderfully panoramic views of the surrounding area. The Tower was built by mountain climbers and nature enthusiasts from the “Österreihischer Touristen Club”. After Word War I the owner of the tower became the Rijeka branch office of the Italian alpine club “Sezione di Fiume del C.A.I. (Club alpino italiano). After the mountainous areas of Učka and part of Ćićarija were declared the Učka Nature Park in 1999, the Vojak Tower became the symbol of the park. In 2004 the Tower was renovated completely. Today the Tower is an information point, a souvenir shop and an observation deck and offers magnificent views of the Bay of Kvarner and the islands, the mountains of Gorski Kotar, the Italian and Slovenian Alps, Venice and more. The top ridge of Mount Učka is a protected area due to its important biological and geological caracteristics. It is also a water protection area.

During the Austro-Hungarian monarchy road through Učka was first cut and put into operation, which connects Istria and Kvarner Coast. On the road from the Istrian party is a public facility for water supply over two hundred years old. Local people call the source of "Napoleon's water" or "Water Joseph II.The object is restored and protected.
