  2. THE CHALLENGE • Believers want to be involved in their communities, but do not know how and where to start. (Create opportunity) • The needs of our communities are not effectively being addressed because only a few obedient Christians try to make a difference on their own. (Many small things instead of a few big things) • Local faith communities are in need to be more relevant with integrity amongst their own communities. (Not only preaching and teaching, but doing) • There is a overwhelming desire for better cooperation amongst faith communities of all denominations in our country. (Unity in obedience)

  3. SHIFTING THE PARADIGM TOWARDS THE KINGDOM Building the faith community 1. Shift in Vision Growing the kingdom Redefine purpose, role and function of the faith community.

  15. THE PRINCIPLE “And they were continuing steadfastly in the teaching of the apostles and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came on every soul and many wonders and miracles took place through the apostles. And all the believers were together, and had all things in common. And they sold possessions and goods and distributed them to all according as everyone had need. And continuing steadfastly with one mind day by day in the Temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church those being saved from day to day.”(Direct translation of Acts 2:44-47)
