  3. Key Dates 2013 • BSV 6th Form information evening: 7th November • Reports issued: 22nd November • LRD: 29/30th November • Trial exams start: 2nd December

  4. Key Dates 2014 • Trial exam results day: 13th January • 6th Form subject information evening: 13th January • Year 11 PTC: 23rd January • 6th form application deadline: 7th February • Practical exams begin: 12th March • GCSEs begin 12th May

  5. We’re offering multi-layered support:

  7. 2: Study Sessions • When – these will be every Wednesday starting after half term. • Where - TBC • Who – tutors will be leading these sessions

  9. 4: Faculty support MFL Catch up, revision and support , Wednesday, 3.00-4.00pm, in C13

  10. 4: Faculty support MFL • Final controlled assessment dates are: writing, 23rd Oct and 12thFeb speaking, 2/3rdDec and 11th March Each assessment is 15% of their final mark.

  14. 6: Faculty support Science (Double/Additional) • All double Science students have finished the Core Science GCSE and results have been cashed in.

  15. Faculty support Science (Double/Additional) • Students will sit modules B2, C2 and P2 in May 2014 and complete at least one ISA between November 2013 and January 2014. ISA P2 C2 B2 DONE

  16. Faculty support Science (Triple, 3 GCSEs) • Students sat modules B1, B2 and B3 in year 10. • Students will sit modules P1, P2, P3, C1, C2 and C3 in May and June 2014. • Students must continue to revise modules C1 and P1

  18. Faculty support Science (OCR) • Students have completed Unit 11, coursework catch-up for those who haven’t. Currently completing Units 1 and 2 • Key dates: • External moderator due: Nov 2013 • Practical exam: 16th January 2014 • Final moderation: June ‘14

  19. 6: Faculty support English Thursday 3-4pm: Controlled assessment catch-up sessions will be organised by individual teachers. These sessions will then focus on revision.
