  2. AECII • Enables Mailer to submit “Bad Addresses” for Resolution based on Delivery Force Knowledge™ • Addresses Presented to Delivery Units through web application – Electronic Uncoded Address Resolution Service (eUARS)

  3. The New AECII Process • Limitations – 15,000 Records per day per mailer • Currently Must use AEC I at $15/1,000 Records –Historical Correction Rate – 30% • $25 Minimum Submission Fee • New File Format • After AEC run through AECES – Historical Correction Data

  4. The New AECII Process • After AECES – Presented to Field Units through eUARS • Must use Valid Credit Card or CAPS Account • Records returned Weekly to Secured Customer Folder on RIBBS.USPS.GOV • $0.25 per record Resolved through Delivery Force Knowledge™

AECII Charges for Returned Records • Corrected to Match Valid Delivery Address ($) • Indicated as ADNE – Address Not Recognized/Does Not Exist ($) AECII Returned Records – No Charge • Historical Corrections (No Charge – NC) • PO Box Exclusions – The Address presented is not the Valid Mailing Address (NC) • Unique Occurrence – Final destination not through USPS – Military – College (NC)

  6. Pilot Results • 158,252 Records Presented through eUARS • 90% Records Resolved in 60 Days • 95,202 (60.16%) Corrected to Match Delivery Address • Feedback from Pilot Participants – Very Positive – High Quality

  7. Benefits to Mailing Industry • Automation Discounts for Addresses Previously not ZIP+4 Coded • Increases Value of a List – UAA Reduction • Increases Delivery Performance by Reducing Dependency on Carrier Knowledge • Increased Response Rates • Increased Lifetime Value of Customer
